Black Maternal Mortality
Sound he ALARM! Black women are dying!
Disproportionate rates: Black women experience maternal mortality at a rate three to four times higher than white women. This disparity persists across various age groups, education levels, and socioeconomic statuses.
We are combating this crisis through Improving Health Education: Promoting health literacy and education on maternal health issues within black communities, including access to resources for healthy pregnancies.
In addition, it is crucial to prioritize training and education for Black Doulas, Midwives, and all healthcare staff.
